Advent 2024.

Aside from Christmas morning and all the traditions that come with it, what is most intriguing about this season is the wild contrast between how we celebrate the holidays in the Western world and how we’re meant to remember the birth of Jesus according to Christian tradition.

That juxtaposition often opens people’s hearts to recall the faith they may have set aside during the year.

As we wait for Christmas and anticipate Hope’s arrival, let’s reflect on what the coming of Jesus truly means for our world. This year, we want to explore the fascinating family dynamics God chose as the setting for His arrival. We’ll delve into His lineage, His cousin, His mom’s cousin, and, of course, His parents.

Amazingly, the Creator of all things chose to enter the world at the mercy of an imperfect family—walking alongside them and even being raised by them as a part of the human race.
